Disneyland Paris tickets 2027: planning your day out from Paris
Since spring 2026, the resort at Marne-la-Vallée has looked rather different: the second park is now called Disney Adventure World and is home to the world of Frozen, set around a large lake. In 2027, a trip to Disneyland Paris therefore means deciding between one park or two, aiming for the right day and thinking ahead about the journey. This guide brings together the key pointers to turn a day of your Paris holiday into a lasting family memory, whether it is your first visit or a return after several years.
Disneyland Paris at a glance: one resort, two parks
The resort opened on 12 April 1992 as Euro Disney Resort, in Chessy, Seine-et-Marne, some thirty kilometres east of Paris. It spreads across several towns of Marne-la-Vallée and brings together two theme parks, seven Disney hotels, partner hotels and Disney Village, a pedestrian street of shops, restaurants and shows that you can enter without a park ticket. Since 2017, the Walt Disney Company has owned almost the entire operating company.
Disneyland Park, the original Disneyland Paris park
The first park, covering about 52 hectares, is divided into five lands: Main Street, U.S.A., Frontierland, Adventureland, Fantasyland and Discoveryland. At its centre rises Sleeping Beauty Castle, whose design draws on the illuminations of the Très Riches Heures du Duc de Berry and the outline of Mont-Saint-Michel.
Disney Adventure World, the reinvented park at Disneyland Paris
Opened on 16 March 2002 as Walt Disney Studios Park, the second park was renamed Disney Adventure World on 29 March 2026, at the end of a project worth around €2 billion that reimagined nearly 90% of its surface area.
What is new at Disneyland Paris in 2027
If you have not been for a few years, the transformation is striking. The new layout of the second park is organised around Adventure Bay, a central lake of about 3 hectares, and Adventure Way, a landscaped promenade dotted with gardens inspired by Disney films.
The world of Frozen at Disneyland Paris
Opened on 29 March 2026, this land recreates the kingdom of Arendelle at the foot of a snow-capped mountain topped by Elsa's ice palace. Its headline attraction, Frozen Ever After, is a boat ride through scenes from the film; you will also find meet-and-greets with Anna and Elsa, shops and a Nordic-inspired restaurant.
Rapunzel and the lakeside shows at Disneyland Paris
- Raiponce Tangled Spin: a spinning ride for the whole family, along Adventure Way.
- Disney Cascade of Lights: a night-time show combining drones and fountains above the lake.
- The Regal View: a restaurant overlooking Adventure Bay.
Further projects, including one based on The Lion King, have been announced for the following years without firm dates: check how they are progressing before you travel.
The great classics of Disneyland Park in Paris
The original park keeps its must-sees, which on their own justify a full day.
| Land | Signature attractions |
|---|---|
| Frontierland | Big Thunder Mountain, Phantom Manor |
| Adventureland | Pirates of the Caribbean |
| Fantasyland | It's a Small World, Sleeping Beauty Castle |
| Discoveryland | Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain |
Parade and night-time show at Disneyland Paris
During the day, the Disney Stars on Parade procession rolls by with its floats and characters. In the evening, Disney Tales of Magic projects images onto the castle and the façades of Main Street, with pyrotechnics, drones, fountains and lasers. Times vary from day to day, so check the programme once you are there.
Marvel and Pixar in the second Disneyland Paris park
The Marvel Avengers Campus offers the Avengers Assemble: Flight Force rollercoaster and a Spider-Man attraction, while the Pixar area brings together Crush's Coaster, Ratatouille and Toy Story Playland. The Tower of Terror is still part of the park.
Which Disneyland Paris ticket: 1 park or 2 parks?
Two options cover most needs for a day visit.
Disneyland Paris 1-day 1-park ticket
You pick a single park for the day. It is the right choice with young children, who tire quickly, or if you want to focus either on the classics of Disneyland Park or on the new additions at Disney Adventure World.
Disneyland Paris 1-day 2-park ticket
This one lets you move between the two parks on the same day: the two entrances face each other, just a few minutes apart on foot. It is ideal for seeing Frozen in the morning and the illuminated castle in the evening, provided you set off early and accept that you will have to make some choices.
Tickets are dated and their price varies with the day you choose: the price displayed on this page is the one for the selected date, updated automatically. Children under 3 generally do not need a ticket, but check the age conditions when you order.
Getting to Disneyland Paris from central Paris
Marne-la-Vallée – Chessy station, right next to the parks, is served by both the RER A and the TGV high-speed train. It sits a short walk from the entrances of both parks and Disney Village.
RER A to Disneyland Paris
Board an RER A train towards Marne-la-Vallée – Chessy from Châtelet-Les Halles, Gare de Lyon, Auber or Charles de Gaulle-Étoile, and get off at the end of the line. The journey from the centre takes less than an hour. Only some trains on the line run all the way to Chessy, so look carefully at the destination shown on the platform.
TGV and car
- The TGV station, opened in 1994, offers direct links with many French cities and with Charles-de-Gaulle airport.
- The resort has its own exit on the A4 motorway, with a paid car park.
Planning your day at Disneyland Paris
A successful day is often decided in the very first hour. Ideally, be at the gates before opening time, with your ticket already downloaded on your phone.
- Start with the most popular attraction in your park: Frozen Ever After at Disney Adventure World, or Big Thunder Mountain or Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain at Disneyland Park.
- Use the busier middle of the day for indoor shows, shopping or lunch.
- Keep the afternoon for secondary attractions, which are often calmer towards the end of the day.
- Secure a good spot for the night-time show: arrive early in front of the castle or the lake.
Queue times and crowds at Disneyland Paris
Weekends, French school holidays and the festive seasons (Halloween, Christmas) attract more visitors. On weekdays outside the holidays, the experience is often smoother. Waiting times are displayed at the entrance to each attraction, and a regular glance helps you adjust your plan as you go.
Practical tips for Disneyland Paris with the family
Security and luggage at Disneyland Paris
A security check takes place before you enter the parks and Disney Village. If you are arriving by TGV or leaving the same evening with luggage, find out in advance about the rules for suitcases and the storage options offered near the station.
Height requirements and young visitors at Disneyland Paris
Several thrill rides have a minimum height, displayed at the entrance to each one. Measure your children before you set off to spare them any disappointment. For toddlers, look into the services available on site, such as baby-changing facilities and pushchairs, while preparing your day.
Accessibility at Disneyland Paris
Disabled visitors can benefit from access arrangements adapted to their situation; ask the parks' guest services, with supporting documents to hand. Otherwise, bring water, clothing suited to the season and a power bank for the phone that doubles as your ticket and park map.

Extending your stay beyond Disneyland Paris
A day at the parks fits easily into a Paris break. The RER A takes you straight back into the heart of the city: the following day, a Seine river cruise or a trip up the Eiffel Tower gives tired legs a rest. History lovers can devote another morning to the Palace of Versailles, on the opposite side of the region. For your evenings, our listings of concerts and matches scheduled in Paris in 2027 help you organise the rest of the trip.
