This page is our running file on Deep Purple Paris 2027. It brings together everything that can honestly be said today about a possible Deep Purple concert in the French capital next year: which hall would make most sense, how Paris on-sales usually unfold, what tickets are likely to cost as a rough guide, and how to be ready for the presale. We revisit it regularly and work to one rule — we never make up a date, a venue or a price. Only what Deep Purple, their promoter or the official box office has announced makes it onto the page.
As things stand, no Deep Purple Paris 2027 show has been booked. Even so, Paris is one of the natural stops for a Metal tour of this size, and the city tends to appear early when European legs are drawn up. The single most useful thing to do right now is register further down the page: the second a Paris 2027 date is made public, an email lands in your inbox with the code and the precise opening hour. The sections below go through each part of the picture — the likely room, prices, the presale, the night itself and getting there across Paris — so that you are prepared before the crowd catches on.
A quick word on how we work. Paris has a huge live calendar, spread from the boulevard theatres of the 9th and 11th arrondissements to the big suburban arenas at Nanterre and Saint-Denis, and announcements can land in any of them. We follow those announcements, not social-media chatter, and we only change the status at the top of this page once a booking has been published by someone entitled to publish it.
Not officially, not yet. No Deep Purple Paris 2027 date has been confirmed at the time of writing. That is perfectly normal: large Metal tours are rolled out in waves, usually one region at a time, and cities are rarely revealed all on the same morning. Paris sits among the biggest live-music markets in Europe, so when an act with the pull of Deep Purple heads back on the road, the capital is very often on the list. Silence today is simply how a tour gets assembled, not a sign that Paris has been left out.
When Deep Purple does confirm a Paris show, we refresh this page at once with the hall, the day and the full ticketing timetable. Until that happens, treat anything you read elsewhere with caution: if the artist or their official promoter has not published it, it is not settled. We would much rather print “to be confirmed” than repeat a rumour picked up on social media.
So what should you do in the meantime? Register for the alert. Paris shows by an act like Deep Purple can be cleared out in minutes, and the early window — the one where the good tickets disappear — is short and slips by unnoticed if nobody tells you. Once you are on the list, we write to you as soon as a Deep Purple Paris 2027 date surfaces, with the code and the hour the shop opens, so you are already in the queue while most people are still reading the headline.
Nothing has been named, but for a headline Metal show of this sort, the front-runner for Deep Purple in Paris would be Accor Arena, while Zénith Paris - La Villette and Le Bataclan remain realistic alternatives. What decides it is demand, the size of the touring production and which nights each building has free — the same act might pick an intimate room for a stripped-back set or a stadium for a full-scale spectacle. This is how the leading Paris options line up:
Every Paris venue is on the metro or RER network: the Accor Arena at Bercy (lines 6 and 14), Paris La Défense Arena at the end of RER A and metro line 1, the Adidas Arena at Porte de la Chapelle, and the central venues just a few minutes from any major interchange. Each of these rooms has its own character. Capacity, standing versus seated layouts, the sound and how easy it is to reach all differ a great deal between Bercy, the boulevard theatres and the big suburban arenas, and that feeds directly into ticket prices and how quickly a show sells out. A huge arena means more tickets but also enormous demand; a mid-sized hall feels packed and intense but can be gone in a flash.
Wherever Deep Purple lands, one thing holds: heavy demand means a quick sell-out, and whoever has the release date written down in advance starts with an edge. Once the Deep Purple Paris 2027 hall is official, we will post it here together with the seating plan and our pointers on choosing a section.
Tickets for Deep Purple Paris 2027 will not all appear at once. They come out in rounds, and if you know which round you qualify for, you are already ahead. For a Metal night of this calibre in Paris, the pattern rarely changes:
A few habits make a real difference on the day: open your account on the official ticketing site days before the release and save your payment card there; sign in ten to fifteen minutes ahead of the start; resist hammering the refresh button, which can cost you your spot in the virtual queue; and keep a second device ready just in case. For a high-demand Deep Purple Paris 2027 show, every minute counts.
Put your name on the Deep Purple list above and the code, plus the hour the shop opens, will reach you the minute they are fixed. Buy through the official channels — for a hotly demanded Metal date, second-hand prices rise quickly, and most Paris halls now use named mobile tickets that the official resale platform transfers straight into the new buyer’s name.
Ticket prices are only fixed by the promoter on release day. Purely as a guide, for a headline Metal concert in a Paris arena, comparable shows have tended to fall roughly into these bands:
Treat these figures as markers rather than official tariffs: the actual Deep Purple Paris 2027 prices will be fixed when the box office opens and will depend on the venue, the section and the type of ticket (standard, VIP or hospitality package). VIP options often bundle early entry, exclusive merchandise or a premium spot — worthwhile if you want to be as close as possible to the stage and are happy to pay the difference.
Our advice: settle on a budget before the sale starts and decide which section you are aiming for. With the countdown ticking, it is all too easy to click on something pricier than planned. Sign up and we will put the confirmed Deep Purple Paris 2027 price bands straight into your alert, with no guesswork in between.
One Paris-specific point: the same artist can be priced very differently depending on the room. A night in a historic hall such as L’Olympia, with its tight capacity, does not follow the same grid as a show in an arena of 20,000 at Bercy or a stadium in Saint-Denis. That is why we keep the ranges above broad and wait for the official figures before narrowing them.
The presale is the decisive moment for landing good seats at a Deep Purple Paris 2027 concert. Unlike the general sale, it is open to a limited audience — registered fans, fan-club members, a partner’s customers — and almost always requires a personal presale code. Without that code, the early window stays shut; with it, you can often buy before most people even realise tickets are available.
To tilt the odds your way, get on Deep Purple’s official mailing list, keep an eye on the artist’s social accounts and find out whether your bank, phone network or streaming service is running a partner presale. Keep the code somewhere safe and note the exact start time, time zone included: Metal presales in France often open in the morning, and the best sections can be gone within minutes.
We gather all of that in one place for you. As soon as the Deep Purple Paris 2027 presale is scheduled, our alert tells you which kind of presale it is, when it opens and how to get hold of the code. It costs nothing, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
A last detail that catches people out: in France the fan presale and the partner presales do not always run on the same platform, and occasionally they open on different mornings. Make sure your account is ready on each site that might be involved, so that the Deep Purple Paris 2027 presale does not turn into a last-minute registration exercise.
What might a Deep Purple night in Paris feel like in 2027? The exact setlist will only be known once the opening show of the tour has been played, so we will not publish one until then and we will not guess. One thing is safe to say: a Deep Purple concert is a relentless, fiercely intense set in front of a crowd that gives absolutely everything, mixing the big singalong favourites with songs from the most recent material.
Paris crowds have a strong reputation: they give it everything, chant the choruses back and build the kind of shared energy that turns a gig into a memory. Expect a support act first, then a main set of roughly ninety minutes to two hours depending on the production, encores included. Arrive in good time to enjoy the build-up outside the venue, pick up any merchandise and find your spot without a rush.
A few practical points: read the venue’s rules on bags and cameras, wear comfortable shoes if you are heading for the standing floor, and spot the water points and exits when you arrive. A well-prepared Deep Purple Paris 2027 evening is one you can enjoy from start to finish.
If you are coming from outside the city — or from abroad — for Deep Purple Paris 2027, plan your travel and accommodation as carefully as your ticket.
On big concert nights, public transport is packed when the venue empties, so work out your route home beforehand, check when the last metro and RER trains run, and consider waiting a few minutes inside to let the rush thin out. If you are driving in, remember that crossing the périphérique on an event night can be slow, and book a car park ahead rather than hunting for a space near the venue at the last minute.
As for a bed for the night, rooms close to the main Paris halls get snapped up on show nights and prices climb with them. Booking early — ideally as soon as the Deep Purple Paris 2027 date is confirmed — gives you more choice and better prices. An arrondissement with a direct metro line to the venue is often a better bet than a hotel next door that blows the budget, whether you settle on the Left Bank or the Right Bank. And while the date is not yet locked in, a refundable booking is the sensible option.
Catching Deep Purple in Paris is far more than one more date in the diary — it is a relentless, fiercely intense set in front of a crowd that gives absolutely everything. Parisian audiences are known for throwing themselves into a show, and the city’s venues, from the historic halls on the grands boulevards to the arenas at Bercy and La Défense, suit this sort of night perfectly. Whether it is a greatest-hits tour or a set built around the latest record, a Deep Purple Paris 2027 concert is one of those evenings fans build a whole year around, and the people who book early — presale ideally — tend to get the best of it.
Beyond the music, there is the experience itself: thousands of people sharing the same enthusiasm, hearing live the songs you have had on repeat, and leaving with a memory you cannot stream. That is precisely why a Deep Purple Paris 2027 date is so hotly sought after.
Fans of Deep Purple also have these Metal names on their Paris wish list for 2027 — choose one and we will watch it for you as well: Iron Maiden · Metallica · Rammstein · Slipknot · While She Sleeps · Judas Priest · Def Leppard · Bring Me the Horizon.
Not so far. Neither Deep Purple nor a promoter has published a Paris 2027 date at this stage. Join the list above and we will tell you the day it happens — and we will not fill the gap with guesses.
The promoter picks the release date, usually several months ahead of the show, and the fan presale tends to come one to three days before the public sale. Register and the Deep Purple Paris 2027 presale window will not pass you by.
Nothing is official. For a Metal show of this size, Accor Arena looks like the most likely Paris hall, with Zénith Paris - La Villette and Le Bataclan as other possibilities.
Official prices only appear on release day. Roughly speaking, seats tend to begin near €45, and VIP or premium packages sit well above that. The official price bands will be in your alert.
Codes are sent to fans on the artist’s list and to customers of official partners. Register with us: the day the Deep Purple Paris 2027 presale is fixed, we explain how to obtain the code and when the window opens.
No. We are an independent guide with no tie to Deep Purple, to any promoter or to any hall. We publish nothing invented and always direct you to the official places to buy.
Hard rock pioneers Deep Purple are among the British bands seen most often in Paris since the very start of the 1970s. From the Taverne de l’Olympia to the Palais des Sports and then Bercy, the capital has witnessed key moments in their history, including the 1975 concert captured on the album Made in Europe and the triumphant 1985 reunion of the Mark II line-up.
On 8 October 1970, Deep Purple played the Taverne de l’Olympia in Paris, on the tours that followed the release of the album In Rock. That founding record, released the same year, established the so-called Mark II line-up: Ian Gillan on vocals, Ritchie Blackmore on guitar, Jon Lord on keyboards, Roger Glover on bass and Ian Paice on drums. With songs like Speed King and Child in Time, the band laid the foundations of a powerful, virtuosic and theatrical hard rock that would shape the genre for years. The Paris concert came at a pivotal moment in their career, as they were steadily establishing themselves as one of the heaviest and most technically gifted bands of their generation. The Taverne de l’Olympia, a far more intimate room than the big halls they would later fill, gave Paris fans close contact with a Deep Purple on the rise, a few months before their international breakthrough.
On 17 March 1973, Deep Purple played the Palais des Sports de Paris, at the very height of their worldwide fame. The band was going through an exceptionally prolific period: after Fireball and above all Machine Head, released in 1972 and featuring the immortal Smoke on the Water, the Mark II line-up dominated the international hard rock scene. The Paris concert was part of an intense tour on which Ian Gillan, Ritchie Blackmore, Jon Lord, Roger Glover and Ian Paice delivered a set that had become classic, from Highway Star and Space Truckin’ to Smoke on the Water. The Palais des Sports, the large hall at Porte de Versailles, welcomed a crowd won over by the band’s sheer volume and virtuosity. This stop came shortly before the internal tensions that would lead to the departure of Gillan and Glover. It reflected the superstar status Deep Purple had reached with French audiences in the 1970s.
On 7 April 1975, Deep Purple gave a now-legendary concert at the Palais des Sports de Paris: it was Ritchie Blackmore’s last performance with the band before he left to form Rainbow (and before his return when the group re-formed in 1984). This was the Mark III era, with David Coverdale on vocals and Glenn Hughes on bass, touring the album Stormbringer. The Paris show was recorded and part of it appears on the live album Made in Europe, released in 1976. The Palais des Sports audience thus witnessed, perhaps without realising it, a major turning point in the band’s history. The recording captures the power of this soul-tinged hard rock version of Deep Purple, before the long period of break-up and line-up changes that followed. This Paris date remains one of the best-documented milestones in the British band’s live discography.
On 8 and 9 July 1985, Deep Purple played two nights at the Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy on the Perfect Strangers tour, which marked the grand return of the re-formed Mark II line-up. After years apart, Ian Gillan, Ritchie Blackmore, Jon Lord, Roger Glover and Ian Paice reunited for the album Perfect Strangers, released in late 1984, and a triumphant world tour. These two Paris dates, in the young Bercy arena that had opened a year earlier, showed the excitement the reunion had stirred up. Fans heard the great 1970s classics alongside the new songs, driven by the return of the band’s most iconic line-up. The Perfect Strangers tour was among the highest-grossing tours anywhere in the world in 1985. In Paris, the double bill confirmed French audiences’ lasting attachment to Deep Purple, more than fifteen years after the band’s beginnings.
On 20 February 1987, Deep Purple returned to the Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy for The House of Blue Light tour, named after the album released that year. The second record by the re-formed Mark II line-up extended the success of Perfect Strangers, even though tensions between Ian Gillan and Ritchie Blackmore were already resurfacing. The Paris concert was part of a world tour on which the band alternated new songs with evergreen classics such as Smoke on the Water and Highway Star. At Bercy, French fans saw the classic line-up again in a venue that had become an essential stop for big rock tours in Paris. The concert illustrated Deep Purple’s second life in the 1980s, a fruitful reunion period despite strained internal relations. It came shortly before Gillan left again, temporarily replaced by Joe Lynn Turner, ahead of the band’s later line-up changes.
On 26 February 1991, Deep Purple played the Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy once more, this time on the Slaves and Masters tour. The album, released in 1990, stood out for the arrival of singer Joe Lynn Turner, formerly of Rainbow, in place of Ian Gillan. Alongside Ritchie Blackmore, Jon Lord, Roger Glover and Ian Paice, Turner brought a more melodic flavour, close to the American hard rock of the time. The Paris concert reflected a transitional and sometimes controversial chapter in the band’s history, before Gillan’s return for the album The Battle Rages On in 1993. At Bercy, the audience nonetheless heard the essential classics of the repertoire, reinterpreted by this new vocal line-up. The date confirmed Deep Purple’s regular presence on Paris’s biggest stages through the 1980s and 1990s, whatever the successive changes to their legendary line-up.
Given that history on Paris stages, a Deep Purple return in 2027 would be hugely anticipated. Switch on the free alert to hear if and when a date is announced.
